New Year, New You?

Really???

By now, most people, if not everyone, have reverted to their previous ways, habits, and lifestyles. While nearly half of Americans make New Year's resolutions, only about 25% of people actually stay committed to their resolutions after just 30 days, according to Columbia University. According to new research by Dr. Michelle Rozen, a whopping 94% of us drop the ball on our commitments within two months, and only six percent follow through.

Personally, I stopped making resolutions a while back and just decided to push to be a better me on a daily basis. May I suggest that you do the same, in whatever way that looks like for you and then ultimately you will discover a "new" you.

This nurturing continues throughout childhood and into young adulthood. As fathers, our role is to raise our children to be independent individuals; this is our responsibility.

As a Gen X parent, I found work and excelled at it, especially when left to my own devices. In raising our Gen Z children,…
